1. To enquire about availability and make bookings ring the clubhouse on 0131 663 8452 or call in during the following times:
2. If there is a suitable date available, a Provisional Booking can be entered into the Club diary.
3. When making a Provisional Booking you should leave –
Your name Address Contact phone number
Details of the proposed event – type of event, numbers, etc.
4. This MUST be followed up by completion and submission of an application form ASAP, but within four weeks, or the provisional booking will be deleted.
5. You can obtain an Application Form from the Clubhouse or download it below.
6. Any person holding a function in the Clubhouse must be a member of the Club. Therefore, at the same time as completing the Hire Application Form, you must, if not already a member, complete and submit an Application for Membership. If it is only in connection with the function hire, you will be applying for a Social Membership, at a current cost of £20 (inc VAT). This form can also be obtained from the Clubhouse or downloaded from the Club website - lasswaderfc.co.uk – from the Club Info/Documents/Membership Application Form link.
7. The prospective hirer should visit the Clubhouse before submitting their application forms to ensure they are aware of the facilities being offered and discuss the optional services required.
8. For certain events the Club, at their discretion, require the hire of doormen to be paid for by the hirer. The prospective hirer should be made aware of this when they tell the Club the type of event to be held at the provisional booking stage, submitting the forms or before payment of the fees.

9. The current fee for hiring any one of the halls / rooms is £60 (inc VAT). 10. Your completed applications will then be submitted to the next meeting of the Club General Committee for consideration. (normally the first Wednesday of each month).
11. You will be contacted after the Committee meeting and advised whether your application has been successful, or not.
12. If approved by the Committee you will be advised that you should either send or visit the Clubhouse to pay your hall hire fee and membership fee. 13. Both fees must be paid once the Committee has approved the request, within one month of being informed of acceptance of the booking & membership applications, and at least two weeks before the event.
14. All MEMBERS holding private functions MUST attend the function they have booked for the whole duration of the booking / function.
15. All MEMBERS holding private functions MUST sign-in ALL their guests on the day / night of the function.
16. The Club can arrange the hire of a disco. This must be paid for at the time of booking this additional service, after the hall booking has been accepted & must be paid for at least four weeks before the event.
17. The kitchen in the Clubhouse can be used by the hirer or their caterer. Any intention to use the kitchens has to be included on the booking form. Dependent upon the use to be made of the kitchens, a further fee may be charged.
18. The prospective hirer should contact the Club Stewardess, Helen, 10 days before the event to arrange access for caterers, putting up decorations, etc.
19. The prospective hirer should also consider whether, for certain types of event, they expect access to the Clubhouse the day before for setting up their event e.g. - tables for a set meal.
20. Final numbers must be provided to the Stewardess at least two days prior to the event.
